KIDS & PETS
We all know how cute pics or videos of kids and animals are, but there are some really great and meaningful benefits to point out regarding this kind of bonding. Animals can help children learn to express and understand non-verbal communication and decipher intentions, which lead to improved emotional understanding and expression. Researchers around the globe also found that children living with pets have fewer behavioural problems, fewer learning problems, are more physically active and have better general health: experts say that children who grow up with pets are less likely to develop common allergies thanks to early exposure to certain bacteria.
From a very young age, kids can learn about responsibility from their connection with the pet. They can learn that it is important to take care of the needs of others and to be kind and gentle. When they give love to their pets, they will receive love back, which can teach them about the importance of being open towards others. Overall, spending time with pets and taking care of them will teach kids about the unity of all living beings on Mother Earth. And we can agree that is one of the most valuable lessons they can learn.
